I am raising money for Breast Cancer Network Australia by trekking to Machu Picchu on the Pink Peru Challenge!

Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) works to ensure that Australians affected by breast cancer receive the very best support, information, treatment and care appropriate to their individual needs.

In May 2015 I am joining others as a group, challenging myself to trek the Inca trail in Peru.  I am so excited to have the opportunity to raise funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia.  Throughout my Breast Cancer Journey BCNA provided so much support starting on my first day in hospital with their My Journey Kit.  At the time I received an E-mail about this Challenge from BCNA, I was planning my own trip to Machu Picchu, this being one of my dream adventures.  I was convinced instantly this was the way to do it and help my favourite charity.  I facilitate a support group for those diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer an aggressive subtype of breast cancer.  The focus of our group is healthy eating, mindfulness and exercise as there is not yet a target therapy.   I see this trek as a motivation to encourage myself and others that we can move on to bigger and better things no matter what. The $4,000.00 needed to be raised goes directly to BCNA, with your sponsorship my goal is to achieve this by 31 March 2015.  I thank you for any support you can provide.
